Our mission is to provide our patients with personalized, high-quality at-home care. We are dedicated to improving and maintaining the health of our patients through preventative care, planning, and treating chronic diseases.

Our House Calls team is directed by Dr. Christina Freston graduated from University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education. She graduated from Medical school at Des Moines University in Iowa and completed Family Practice residency in Anchorage, Alaska.

With Doctor's House Calls of Idaho, we provide family practice physicians directly to to the patient, wherever they call home. We proudly facilitate home healthcare across the Treasure Valley, including Boise, Meridian, and Nampa as well as Twin Falls, Pocatello, Rexburg, and Bannock County.

Due to the latest Coronavirus pandemic a large segment of the population is unable to get access to quality health care services. For the past several years we've been bringing care to patients that are homebound or otherwise unable to travel to a clinic.

Primary Care

We provide primary care services to those patients who do not have a current PCP and can coordinate interim care should your existing PCP be unavailable. We can do a medical encounter similar to those you experience in a clinic setting. We coordinate laboratory services, prescribe medications, and coordinate to specialists and other healthcare professionals as necessary. Our services are available to those who choose not to seek medical care in a clinical setting, and prefer to receive services inside their own home.

Wound Care

Doctor’s House Calls, along with Signature Healthcare, and Multicare Home Health provides state of the art wound care services! As SWCA approved providers, our team works in conjunction with Surgical Wound Care Associates and it’s physician directed training protocols. Together, we bring a synergistic approach to wound care that optimizes outcomes, increases patient satisfaction, and expediates wound healing time.

Transition Care

We provide treatment and oversight for patients recently discharged from a hospital, LTACH, and in some situations Skilled Nursing Facility. Transitional care refers to the coordination and continuity of health care during a movement from one healthcare setting to either another or to home, called care transition, between health care practitioners and settings as their condition and care needs change during the course of a chronic or acute illness

Osteopathic Manipulation

Multiple techniques are used which can consist of stretching, massage, soft and rm pressure to help muscle and joints recover from injury. This technique can be used in a multitude of conditions including sports injuries, arthritis, chronic pain, fibbromyalgia, back pain, headaches.

Chronic Care Management

Chronic care management, encompasses the oversight and education activities conducted by health care professionals to help patients with chronic diseases and health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, systemic lupus erythematosus, multiple sclerosis, and sleep apnea learn to understand their condition and live successfully with it. This term is equivalent to disease management for chronic conditions. The work involves motivating patients to persist in necessary therapies and interventions and helping them to achieve an ongoing, reasonable quality of life.

Telehealth is the distribution of health-related services and information via electronic information and telecommunication technologies. In other words, let's have an appointment online!
